IT IS IN THE EYES

Capturing the essence of a living thing is prevalent throughout most of my paintings.  

People and animals have so many facets and can change their appearances quickly.  To freeze a moment in time on paper is exciting and challenging.

I want the feeling that the living model is experiencing to be projected to you, the viewer, and hopefully guide you to experience the same emotion for the subject that I experienced while painting it.
